I wish I could have had a natural birth with Suzi, but her birth went relatively well. I have a friend who was completely robbed of seeing her son born. Her epidural/spinal didn’t numb her completely, so they kicked her husband out, put her under general anesthesia, and did a C-section. She didn’t even see the baby until two hours later. Next time I’m definitely going to need a doula. It can be tough standing up to your nurses and doctors.

I’m going to have to try this pasta squash–imagine, a pasta that doesn’t go straight to my thighs! :-)
