Inexplicable Ways

Humbly building the universe

  • Song of the Builders

    On a summer morning
    I sat down
    on a hillside
    to think about God--
    a worthy pastime
    Near me, I saw
    a single cricket;
it was moving the grains of the hillside
    this way and that way
    How great was its energy
    how humble its effort
    Let us hope
it will always be like this
    each of us going on
    in our inexplicable ways
    building the universe.

Negative Heel Technology

Posted by Inexplicable Ways on June 22, 2008

I am not posting this picture because I want anyone to be jealous.  No, no, no.

On a fast tip from a friend, I drove some miles to find Earth shoes for a RIDICULOUSLY low price.  But don’t be jealous or anything.

I AM JEALOUS!!! :) Where did you drive to get them? I’m always a little hesitant to order shoes or clothes because I don’t want the hassle of shipping things back that don’t fit.

Those shoes are adorable. I’m not that jealous though because for some reason, I haven’t been able to wear shoes with backs on them (comfortably) for years. So I’m only a little jealous, because they are cute! :-)

I just found the new babywearing site off Carey’s new blog. It looks great! And I was surprised to see Suzi (and my shoulder) in the banner. Ha! I recently made myself some “mommy cards” for when moms ask me about my sling/wrap, and I think I’m going to write the url for that page on the back of it so I can refer people.
