I am SO nervous about bringing up, to my OB, that I wish to have a vertical birth. I am almost sure in this city, there isn't a single person that has done so.. (not really...hopefully) I've watched 3 births take place. Two of which were vaginal and one by C-section. Both of the vaginal births were induced and she gave birth on her back. I do not want that experience. I have watched and read several articles relating to the advantages of totally natural birth and these women all gave birth vertically. This information is great, help to back my stand when I finally tell my gyno!
