This is one of several songs I sing to Jack at night. During our book study I have been thinking a lot about the concept of being a debtor to Grace. Seems counterintuitive. Constraint and fetters are not words I think of when I think about Grace, but there is something beautiful about the thought of willfully binding yourself to a God who gave you that will. I don’t know. That’s okay. This will always be one of my favorite hymns.
